Nawashiro Zakura is a natural monument by Gifu Prefecture, consisting of two giant trees, those more than 400 years old. It tall’s 30m and 25m.
This Cherry Blossoms bloom beautiful when villager start to work on rice fields, so villager give it name to be Nawashiro, its mean rice plants.
Bloom from early to mid-April of each year. As that time, it will be light-up at night.
(light –up may be stopped by weekdays or raining.)
